CANS is a Cardiff drone survey company working for property managers, landlords and commercial buyers across South Wales.
CANS began life as the Cardiff Aerial News Service: a pilot with a camera, reporting on the city from above. The camera got better, the clients got bigger, and the reports turned into something property managers could act on. The name stuck, and the meaning grew up. Today CANS stands for Cardiff Aerial Non-contact Surveys. We still file every job as a dispatch from above.
How we work
- Trained, CAA-registered pilot, flying sub-250 g class C0 aircraft in the CAA's Open category, up to the legal ceiling of 120 m.
- Fully insured for public liability and drone liability. Certificates on request.
- A risk assessment for every site, pre-flight checks and a full flight log.
- Independent: we don't do repairs, so our reports have no reason to find you more work.
- Privacy by design: we survey buildings, not people.
Where we fly
Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, Newport, Caerphilly, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend, Swansea and the rest of South Wales. Travel is included within 25 miles of Cardiff city centre.
